Help for the Nekot iPhone app (iOS 17 or later)

Nekot shows the usage and quota of your AI coding tools, such as Claude Code and Codex, right on your iPhone. It has no backend and no accounts: your credentials stay in the iOS Keychain on your device.

1. Getting started

Open Nekot and connect a platform. Your usage appears on the dashboard as ring gauges, per-window bars and reset countdowns.
Claude Code: choose "Sign in with account (recommended)", open the authorization page, then paste the code back into the app. Or choose "Paste token manually" and paste an access token.
Codex: log in through the in-app web view, or choose "Paste token manually" and paste an access token.
"Paste token manually" works for every platform and is always available as a fallback.

2. Alerts and widgets

Nekot sends a local notification when a usage window crosses 80% or 95%, once per crossing. Alerts are generated on your device and do not use a push server. If they do not arrive, check Settings › Notifications › Nekot on your iPhone.
Home screen widgets show per-platform usage with a last-updated time. Long-press the Home Screen, tap the add button, and search for Nekot.
Usage refreshes about every minute while the app is open. In the background, iOS decides when to refresh, so widgets may lag behind the app.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

Restore a purchase: open the Pro page in Nekot and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the Apple Account you bought with.
Manage or cancel a subscription: on iPhone, go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Refunds: Apple handles all App Store payments and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Troubleshooting

Make sure your iPhone is online.
Pull to refresh on the dashboard.
If a platform shows an authorization error, disconnect it in Nekot and connect it again.
Force-quit and reopen Nekot.
Update to the latest version of Nekot and iOS.

Usage figures are read from interfaces exposed by each provider and may be delayed, incomplete, or change without notice. If numbers look wrong, compare them with the provider's own usage page before contacting us.
